Dear Reader,
When I get excited about something, I sometimes get moving too fast and then I lose things. It happens to me a lot when away on business. Over the years, I've lost three cell phones in New York, another one in Chicago, and I've had to back-track to retrieve notebooks and a precious pen.
Last Friday when I was running around picking up printing, stamps, and photos for press kits I was putting together, it happened again--only this time I lost my wallet. This was a first, even for me. I went to pay the photographer and when I realized that my wallet was missing, I told her I'd run out and look in my car. Just as I was opening the car door my cell phone rang, "Are you Suzanne Beecher? I think I have your wallet."
Lost and found all in about 10 minutes time. Life is full of blessings. And the man who found my wallet felt as blessed as I did. He told me he lost his wallet once after he'd just been to the bank to pick up $1,000 in cash. Eventually he got his wallet back, but not the money. He said it gave him a wonderful feeling to find someone else's lost wallet and to be able to return it, and the contents back safely. Yes, life is full of blessings sometimes--they're just a little disguised.
Thanks for reading with me. It's so good to read with friends.
Suzanne Beecher
