Dear Reader,
It's so simple to make, but it's so impressive looking. And it's my grandson's favorite holiday treat!
Mardi Gras Punch
(I double the recipe below to fill the punch bowl. If you don't have a punch bowl, check at the dollar stores, that's where I got mine.)
1- 6 oz can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1- 6 oz can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 cup water
Fruit pieces, such as cut-up oranges, strawberries, limes and whole blueberries
1 quart chilled apple juice
2 quarts chilled ginger ale
Combine the orange juice and lemonade concentrates. Refrigerate HALF of the concentrated mixture.
To the remaining half, add the water. Make ice cubes with pieces of the cut-up fruit and the concentrate-water mixture. (When I double the recipe, I have two ice cube trays filled.)
Serve in a large punch bowl, stir together the chilled juice concentrate and the apple juice.
Slowly pour the ginger ale down the side of the punch bowl. Add the fruit filled ice cubes and serve.

Thanks for reading with me. It's so good to read with friends.
