Jane Heppner

Oh my goodness, this made me laugh. Back in the days before cell phones my mom sent my dad to the grocery store by himself. One of the items on the list was "red jello". Now my mom thought anyone in the family would surely know she meant strawberry. But poor dad had no idea. So he bought one box of every type of red jello he could find, in each size that he saw available. I can just see him standing there, scratching his head, trying to decide what to do. Mom just shook her head when she unloaded the bag. It remains a family joke. Thanks for bringing on the funny memory!
