Dear Reader,
"Write something and call me in the morning."
I think it's one of the best prescriptions a person can give themselves. It doesn't matter whether you consider yourself a writer or not. The prescription will work for anyone. If something's bothering you, but you can't figure out what it is, if you're feeling sad or just about ready to burst from the excitement of good fortune, sit down and write about it.
Don't let it be a one moment experience. Put your thoughts and feelings down on paper, and then some time when you need to get a grip on life, when you need to remind yourself that it's okay, you'll meet up with that piece of paper and the words you read will comfort you.
Remember, if I've used your email in a column this week, send me your shipping address and as a thank you, I'll send you a free book.
Thanks for reading with me. It's so good to read with friends.
