Dear Reader,
It was my own music fest on the front porch. Ear pods in place, Nano turned to my favorite playlist, arms waving back and forth, hips sliding side-to-side on the sofa (a tough thing to do without spilling your first morning cup of coffee). Soon I was singing every other phrase, yet trying to keep quiet. After all it was 5:30 in the morning.
Wishing I could have plugged the music into a booming speaker, I refrained. It might wake the neighbors. What they would think? Probably what the heck has happened to that nice woman next door who wears aprons, vintage hats, is constantly working in her flower gardens, bakes chocolate chip cookies three times a week, and turns on an electric bubble machine every other day? The bubble lady has finally went nuts.
My concert moves are picking up now. I'm up on my feet, dancing on the porch. Can't help myself. Good thing it's still dark out, or the early morning runners passing by would think I'm crazy, too.
Sadly the darkness is moving on. It's getting light outside. I cheer for an encore, one more tune, then it's time to take out the ear buds, smooth out my apron and settle back into that nice, quiet lady who wears vintage hats, bakes chocolate chip cookies, gardens and turns on a bubble machine in front of her house.
Thanks for reading with me. It's so good to read with friends.
Dancing the early morning away in Sarasota,
Suzanne Beecher

AUTHORBUZZ: AuthorBuzz authors are on vacation for the next two weeks. Instead of writing, they'll be roasting turkeys and baking pies. They will return the week of December 1st.
I just love your daily post. I read them with my morning coffee. They truly make me smile. You are a jewel.
