I have a half-gallon jar with a leather "glove" marked up the side of the jar: Movie - Weekend Getaway - Hawaii - Jaguar. (I've made it as far as Hawaii--someday I want that Jag!) Every night, I empty my purse of my change and this little bank has supplemented many shopping trips, vacations, bills and more. I think I'm going to suggest setting up a bucket here at work this summer for a local charity and call it Change the World -- It Makes 'Cents'! Thanks for inspiring this!

I have a one of those big plastic beer bottles and my wife and I dump our change in there. The nice thing about being Canadian though is we have $1 and $2 coins... when we cash out it's usually several hundred dollars. JACKPOT!!!! We just have to not raid the bottle when we are fixin for a late night chip snack...
