It's a Pajama Party at the book clubs! If you haven't joined in the fun, do it today. My memory to share is not from childhood. In fact, it was 'only' 25 years ago. We were on our honeymoon and stopped to shop at a Banana Republic store. They used to feature product descriptions that were great fun to read, so colorful that it almost dared you not to buy the product. I was hooked on the Artisans Nightshirt. It brought to mind long, winter evenings writing and reading in a cozy loft. The nightshirt was great, but a few rips and tears over the years finally reduced it to disposal by my wife (although she has never really confessed to it!)

Banana Republic has changed the focus of their products and marketing, so you won't find the Artisans Nightshirt there now. However, this contest might cause another reader to say, "I know about that shirt, and I know where you can get one now!" If so, please feel free to play matchmaker and help me exchange contact and or product info.

I thought it would be the stupidest thing anyone ever invented (and then gave me) but I LOVE that thing. And so does the cat--he appropriately 'snuggles' into it too. I have enjoyed reading every story this week; it has been more fun to read than take the time to write a story about my favorite PJ’s; thanks for sharing.

I've been meaning to write for some time, not for any particular reason, just to tell you how much I enjoy reading your e-mails. Even when I'm not "feelin' it" with a featured book, I always look forward to your daily note to us, your readers, and, of course, the recipes! There have even been times when I saw that the book wasn't grabbin' me and I hit the Delete key before I remembered to read your section! Horrors!!! I quickly retrieve it just so I can read your note and then proceed to delete it.

You are so open and genuine and I appreciate the time and talent you share with us, your readers. Keep your chin up on "those" days -- and I know when those hit, it's not always easy to do so, once again, thank you.
