Dear Reader,
If I'm going to suffer for shoes, at least they should be high heels that make my legs look sexy, not plain old tennis shoes. My new tennis shoes felt good for the 45 seconds I wore them in the store, but the first time I went for a walk--it was pain and suffering after only four blocks. 'You just need to break 'em in,' is what I kept telling myself over the next five days. But every time I wore the tennis shoes I ended up with sore feet.
So I've recycled my tennis shoes, they're a new addition to the tennis shoe condo on my back stoop. One girl's tennis shoes becomes a lizard's cozy home. There are six condos and counting, sitting on my back stoop; New Balance or Sketchers, white or tan, take your pick. All newly remodeled (which means I shook the dust and dirt out of them last week). Read all about how my tennis shoe real estate venture got started (including photos), go to: http://www.emailbookclub.com/liz.html
Thanks for reading with me. It's so good to read with friends.
