Dear Reader,
Paul, my 3 year-old grandson and I are going to bake this afternoon. Grandma/Grandson bake together every week. Paul's favorite, chocolate cupcakes (from scratch) and chocolate frosting topped with a few sprinkles. But this afternoon, Paul's agreed to change our lesson plan and we're going to bake chocolate chip cookies. Paul and I will bake the cookies, and your contribution is to enter this month's Chocolate Chip Cookie Giveaway.
Simply enter the giveaway and if you're a winner, dunk and eat the cookies (all of them yourself or share with friends) hmm good, then please email a photo so Paul and I (and book club readers) can see your smiling face.
To enter this month's Chocolate Chip Cookie Giveaway, go to: http://www.muffinsandmayhem.com/node/1284 You'll also find a list of recent odds and ends winners: MUFFINS AND MAYHEM caps, books, coffee gift cards, and guest author winners, including some photos.
Paul and I are ready to bake, so be sure to enter.
Thanks for reading with me. It's so good to read with friends.

In the kitchen with Grandma, what great memories! My Gradma taught me how to can the vegtables that grew in her garden and the fruit that we would pick from the trees back of the old barn. It was hard work but the stories that she would tell of her childhood and her mother are treasures that I keep with me always.
