Dear Reader,
Laura recommends my Crock Pot Dressing and you could win a Crock Pot this week!
From my Email Bag:
"What a life-saver!
Six years ago I was volunteered to host Thanksgiving at my house. I was given simple things to do--set the table, wine, and vegetables. Everyone else brought the turkey, potatoes, cranberries, stuffing, pies, etc. Then a few years ago the turkey/stuffing supplier dropped out and the burden of cooking the turkey, stuffing and gravy became my responsibility. I found a turkey recipe in my local paper that both my son-in-law and I use, and the turkey and gravy comes out just fine. That same year my mother was trying to get me to use her stuffing recipe, but I discovered your no mess-no, no fuss slow cooker stuffing.
I got up early that Thanksgiving morning, threw the ingredients in one slow cooker and viola--stuffing that was gone in an instant. So this year I am making two slow cooker stuffings and I may have just a little bit left-over for Friday's do-over turkey meal. Thanks so much for the recipe."--Laura
Here's your chance to win a crock pot and I'll send you one of my recipe cards with the recipe handwritten on it, too. I won't be able to have it delivered by Thanksgiving, but it will be sure to arrive in time for your Christmas entertaining.
